In
the City Centre, offers a stunning view of the Detroit
Skyline. The gardens are named in memory of the many
members of the Essex Scottish Regiment killed during the
landing in Dieppe, France, in 1942. It's a great place to people
watch and, because Windsor's downtown is only a few steps
away, you can easily end your Dieppe Gardens visit at any of
the refreshing nearby restaurants

We
are the only Wood Carving Museum in Ontario, a beautiful
expansive one room museum, located only minutes from
downtown. Every aspect of carving, whether traditional or
contemporary, historical or wildlife is represented and displayed
in an intimate room full of light. The museum includes over 300
carvings in a climate controlled environment. The carvings are
exhibited in large glass cabinets, allowing for close viewing.
The quality of the carvings and the size of our facility make
the visit very appealing for personal visits or tours. You will be
able to view the museum fully in an hour or less, depending on
your interest.

Located
in the Francois Baby House, the Museum tells the
story of the Windsor area including the Aboriginal inhabitants,
the early French and British settlers, immigrants of other
cultures, the building of the tunnel and bridge, prohibition, the
Border Cities, the automotive industry, and more. The Museum
also features a Hands-On History room for children.
